I just finished these new screen printed penguin ornaments for my etsy shop. I have been trying to get an additional ornament together in time for the Indiemade Craft Market on December 3rd, so I am quite pleased. If you live near Allentown, PA, come stop by and say hi on Saturday!
My friend Amy from pennycandyhandmade.com is hosting a giveaway on her blog. You can check this post to learn how to enter to win a set of these awesome holiday cards.
For some great gift ideas, you should check out penny candy's etsy shop and spoonflower shop. I would recommend the DIY Christmas Ornament Kit for a fun stocking stuffer. For a more serious gift, I highly recommend this beautiful 2012 Tea Towel Calendar design. You can order the yardage from penny candy's spoonflower shop and then sew the towels with a few zips on your sewing machine to finish off the the sides!
As I just stumbled across an old Mego Wonder Woman doll that I purchased several years ago, I suddenly felt the need to do some youtubin' of the old Wonder Woman tv series from the seventies. For those of you that want to see some amazing clips (and by amazing, I of course mean cheesy), here goes. Let's start with that amazing theme song... really, I love everything that is amazing about it!
I only saw these shows as reruns in the early eighties and then again when I was in my early twenties and they were running them on tv. My absolute favorite thing was when Wonder Woman transformed into something rather than her usual crime fighting outfit. First, may I present the diving suit:
Yes my friends, that was on prime time tv. You also have to love the skate boarding accessories:
I'm not sure, but they may have sped up the film on some of that ;) Last, but not least, the motor cycle outfit, which appears to be a mixture of the diving suit paired with the skateboard equipment and then repurposed with some gold spray paint:
I like how she seems REALLY focused on spinning in that one. Of course, as I laugh at these clips and stare open mouthed at their production value (or lack there of), I actually love them and they warm my heart with nostalgic pre-CGI bliss. I need to find a place to proudly display that Wonder Woman doll!
Here are the results of the five fall giveaways that I posted last week. A big thanks to everyone that participated! I used www.random.org to generate five random numbers and then selected the blog posts (numbered in the order they were received) that corresponded with each random number. Looks like the number "1" was the lucky number of the night!
Check pic below to see all five winning numbers and their posts. Winners, please leave a comment on this blog post to claim your prize!
Just a quick post to wish everyone a very happy thanksgiving! I am looking forward to spending the day with my family and hoping everyone has some loved ones to spend the day with too. I found myself with some free time last night, so I created the above image for this post. If you have some little ones that want to do some coloring, you can download it as a line drawing and use it as a coloring sheet (a great gift for a grandparent today). If you don't have any little ones, but have an inner child that is screaming to color... go crazy! Here is the image: Download Bubbledog thanksgiving coloring sheet
I would love to see some results, so please post any pics of your creations on this post or on my facebook page! Check back on the blog tomorrow as I will be posting the results of my giveaway contests from last week!

As a kid, my family had dogs, cats, and birds at various times of my life, but the only pets that were "mine" (meaning I had to feed them, clean up after them, etc) were my hamsters. I loved my hamsters... with their puffy food-stuffed cheeks, the way they scampered in those clear plastic balls, how they would burrow and create a nest in the side of their cage, and (most of all) the occasional cuddle that they would grant me without squirming to get away. To enter this contest, leave a comment on this post mentioning your favorite childhood pet OR mention the childhood pet you always dreamed of having!
Good luck to everyone! Once again, be sure to check back tomorrow for the next giveaway!
The second prize for my week of giveaways will be this set of one inch unicorn buttons. I have many different sets of buttons available in my etsy shop. Click here to find out more about my button sets including this I Heart Unicorns set.
